Reply by Works, Not by Words
Don’t trap yourself within the shackles of altercations large or small. If you want to enjoy the rewards of a happy life, then ignore conflicts and forget everything that hurts you or troubles you. Your mind is a computer; don’t fill it with garbage thoughts and ideas. CREATE A RECYCLE BIN IN YOUR MIND AND DELETE THE DELETED MEMORY SO THAT YOU CAN ENJOY A NEW FAZE OF YOUR LIFE.
Life is changing, life is running, as time is running. So, if you want to flow with time, keep changing yourself.
If someone says something that you don’t like, don’t reply. Because replying invites another reply from opposing party. So, the best option is to keep quiet and listen, listen, listen. Listen to everyone as music, keep calm, listen to all, listen to everyone who wants to talk to you. Analyze what they are saying and consider why they are saying it. If you are concerned with their thoughts or ideas, directly or indirectly, ask yourself what you can do – but don’t speak. Let your works speak, not your words. Great and successful people don’t reply to everything, they reply only to requisite things in the form of their works.
Who has not faced criticism? Sachin Tendulkar, Jim Carrey, Thomas Edison?
Great people do not engross themselves in altercation, they love through their works and their works provide a reply to all of their critics. They may not work with the intention of replying, but the critics themselves will find the reply to their criticisms.
Love your nature and love your surroundings. Maintain cleanliness, not only in your physical atmosphere but also in your thoughts. Never worry about what others will think and don’t trouble your mind by thinking about others. Others may be partial, others may be biased, others may be sycophantic. Surrender your works to God. Consider what God would think. God is one. God is impartial. It is easy to make one person happy. God is one, only one. We can make Him happy very easily.
Love thy works and thy works will bring reputation for thyself. If not, then you will still be self-contented.
