Theme of multiculturalism

India is home to approximately 1800 languages and 20000 caste groups. It is considered the most linguistically, culturally, and genetically varied country after the continent of Africa.

India is also home to a variety of religions such as Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Parsi, Jains, and many more religions which form the major part of the Indian continent, in spite of being surrounded by different religions and differences one has learned to live with peace and harmony.

This is possible because of the main principle of democracy, which highlights the peaceful coexistence of another living being.
The theme of multiculturalism is considered the state of mind of every Indian, and it is perfectly on a level with the democratic spirit and corporation of most Indians. The outside picture of India may however seem glamorous, but the theme of unity is diversity (which India is mostly associated with) is sometimes internally challenged.

In a democratic country like India where the people indirectly rule as they elect their own representative to rule the state and country, however, the challenge India faces today is due to “fraud elections” that make some parties move into power at the national and state level.
