हैं अभी मंजिलें तय करने को ,

तुम (मेरे सपने ) , मेरे अपने ,
हमेशा मेरे साथ होंगे ,

जो , तुम थे साथ हमारे , तुम आज भी हो साथ हमारे ,
हम कब हार मानने लगे , जो तुम , डर कर , हमसे ;

जैसे रातें जागी हैं ,
सपने भी वैसे ही देखें हैं ,
ऐ पलकें तू , अभी न झपकना ,

हैं , अभी सपने सच करने को !
रास्ते में तो चट्टानें हजार आतीं हैं ,
सीधे रास्ते पर चलने का मजा ही , किसे आता हैं ,
कब मैंने कहा, मुझे , फूलों का सजाया पथ चाहिए ,
मैं तो बस तुमसे , इतना कहता हूँ , मुझे बस तुम्हारा साथ चाहिए
ऐ कदम तू अभी , न रुकना ;

Meaning in English :
The poet want to say, to my legs and eye, that don’t halt to take rest, I have to go ahead. I cannot stop.
It doesn’t matter, how many people are with me, but when I dreamt some dreams, at that time it was you and me, till the last breath my dreams and my ideas will remain with me, that no one can depart you from me. I have spent many sleepless nights, but my dreams were also like that, that they didn’t allow me to sleep. I saw my dreams with open eyes, so I am always ready to achieve you. So, the poet says ऐ कदम तू अभी, न रुकना (don’t stop, we have to go ahead).
