WORLD BOOK DAY – QUITE DIFFERENT IN 2023!

books Social Awareness

If there’s anything that has changed lives from the middle ages of the world, that are books. Books are Instruments that record, analyse, summarize, organize, debate and explain information that are illustrative, non illustrative, hard bound paper bag jacketed, non jacketed, with forward introduction table of contents, index that are intended for the enlightenment, understanding, enrichment, enhancement and education of the human brain through sensory route of vision… some times touched. Wait, doesn’t this definition sound familiar? Well, I’ll leave it for you to guess!

We all have heard things like Books are that! and these! and what not. Let me tell you something really paradoxical! Good books make you bookish, but the great ones makes you non bookish. If there’s any sense to this, here’s an addition, although they’ll obviously be outdated one day, we shouldn’t forget the fact that once, they’ve ruled centuries and it is due to some of the them out there, that even dates turns outdates. Let that root in.

21st Century Is A Digital Set Of Papers?

“Paper has more patience than people”, as one of the famous quotes go by, with the falling of contemporary days, it feels truly real. Internet has almost overtook the these, but isn’t internet a sort of book too? “21st century is a digital book.” This is a line of truest sense in one of the MCU movies. Speaking of which, the celebrated movies today, may it be from Marvel, DC or the Harry Potter, The Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather trilogy and so on are all based on novels, in other words, Books!

Knowledge can be shared in thousands different ways, if I were to speak on this, I’d say the sharing of knowledge through books, always belongs to the apex, elite and mature way amongst the thousands. Some books are somebody’s way of life while some others contain somebody’s way of life in them. These things have taught people how to think, how to achieve, how to fly, how to shine, how not to live, how to love and it’ll continue for ages to come. The innovation of the book itself meant to intertwine with the mankind, until either one of them is extinct.

Book is a place. Opinions doesn’t matter for an emotion of millions. If we were to oversimplify this concept, it would just be like a school, a place where knowledge is imparted. Readers are the students; some study, few top, a handful ignore, while the rest just flow. The opus also play a crucial role in shaping human identity and worldview. They expose us to different cultures, beliefs, and perspectives, expanding our horizons and challenging our preconceived notions.

For instance, Through literature, we can explore the depths of human emotions, delve into the complexities of human relationships, and ponder the mysteries of the universe. These things never fail to encourage critical thinking, empathy, and self-reflection, helping us develop a holistic understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

Philosophical Perspective!

Books do hold immense relevance in the lives of humans from a philosophical perspective. They serve as a repository of human knowledge, shape our worldview, foster critical thinking, and provide a platform for philosophical discourse. They also facilitate introspection and self-discovery, guiding individuals on their existential journey.

In a world where information is abundant but wisdom is scarce, these things continue to be a timeless source of enlightenment, enriching the human experience and contributing to the advancement of humanity. As the famous philosopher Francis Bacon once said, “Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested.” Their relevance in human life cannot be overstated.
One final thing and the article ends! I’ve never heard anybody saying, “Oh God! I love the smell of these E-novels or the internet!!!”

ON THIS DAY, LET’S MARK THE HEIGHTS OF A PARALLEL WORLD – HAPPY WORLD BOOK DAY!!!

Sathvik N

Hello dear readers! I, Sathvik N, heartfully thank you for your interest if you're already here. What I want people to understand is that keeping things simple is one of our greatest challenges. It is only achieved either through stupidity or a complete understanding of a series of most complicated thoughts, and it's in the latter I believe. My writings, hopefully, will look upon it while all you have to do is to interpret them in the way you understand and conclude the same in multiple interpretations blended into it. That's what's most closest to "how things should be simple." Do visit the writings, enjoy them and most important, provide a feedback!! You can mail me at sathvyofficial@gmail.com Thank you!! Love n' Peace.
